Interesting when they have the hometown dates, it does help to see into someones life to learn more about who they are.
Although....I wouldn't judge a person by their family too much, my parents have a Scandinavian background and they are super introverted, and I myself have tried to break out of that trait and I am considered the black sheep of the family - so I don't think the family should be a dealbreaker, but it is nice to see what the persons background is because it can cause problems later, such as a broken family, not a good example for someone to learn from. Or dysfunction in a family, that can definitely cause problems in a persons life later.
So, I missed Roberto's date because of a news bulletin here of a shooting...so I have no idea.
Chris L. has a nice family, I just think he is so shy boy-like, it's kind of endearing now, but later it will become an annoying thing to someone like Ali.
She really likes Frank because he is different - we can all see that by the clothes he wears and how he looks, etc. She finds him interesting and is drawn to him because he is so different - I almost feel that he is gay!
He has some characteristics of being gay, and women are often drawn to that - I am wondering about Frank. He just has that vibe.
Kirk is a sweet guy, but his family situation is a little strange - but it's not his fault, although it is not a good example of family life. He really let himself go and is probably so hurt, but I think he was a little too boring for Ali.
I don't think she is interested in the "good guy", she is drawn to the more interesting guy like Frank who is unstable. Jake was too, he went out of his comfort zone thinking he should take a risk by being with someone different - and we could all see it was wrong, but people get caught up in the excitement of someone different.
I am still on team Jake, sure he was a little angry, but who knows what she has put him through, he's not perfect of course.
Anyway, Frank has some news in the next episode, but they may be making it look like some big deal when it might just be nothing.
I think he may bow out though, we'll see. There is something weird going on with him!
So pins and needles until next time! Debbie
